The Battery Airbrush can be used as a portable solution and is perfect for the times when you don't want to carry your compressor. The unit allows you to hook up the airbrush that comes with the kit or another compatible branded brush (most work as long as they run the similar fitting, Badger and Paasche need to be converted to 1/8" threading with an adapter). You can also hook up the unit to a quick connect to make it even easier to swap out your airbrushes.
